Thompson Thrift Opens Verity Luxury Class A Multifamily Community in Vero Beach

Thompson Thrift marked the opening of Verity, a 276-unit Class A multifamily community in Vero Beach, with a ribbon cutting and model tours following resident move-ins that began in July 2025 and construction completion in January 2026.

Verity sits on more than 18 acres off 11th Drive and comprises three-story buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, including layouts approaching 1,400 square feet. Interior finishes reflect the developer’s standard offerings and include granite countertops, stainless steel and energy-efficient appliances, full-size washers and dryers, hardwood-style flooring, tile backsplashes, designer fixtures, large walk-in closets, detached garages, and private yard and patio options. Select homes are offered fully furnished or with upgraded finishes such as walk-in showers with full tile and glass doors, premium lighting, an Alexa smart hub, premium appliances, and a dry bar.

A central design element is a custom-angled clubhouse with a covered pavilion that connects to a 24-hour fitness center. The clubhouse includes a coffee bar, a 24-hour social hub, work-from-home suites, and a resident conference room equipped for screenshare and video conferencing. Community amenities extend to a resort-style swimming pool, electric firepits with seating, community grilling areas, a pickleball court, shuffleboard, billiards, and a dog run with agility equipment and a pet spa. Operational features for residents include high-speed internet access, an Amazon package hub, valet trash service, an onsite service team, and a mobile app for rent payment, service requests, and community communication.

At the ribbon cutting, visitors toured professionally decorated models and community spaces. As part of Thompson Thrift’s local engagement, the company presented a charitable donation to St. Vincent de Paul of Indian River County to support food, clothing, shelter, and financial aid programs.

“Celebrating the opening of Verity is a proud moment for our entire team,” said Angie Atkins, senior vice president of community management for Thompson Thrift. “Verity is a thoughtfully designed community where beautiful homes, well-planned amenities and inviting shared spaces come together to create a place residents are proud to call home.”

From a multifamily industry perspective, Verity illustrates current development priorities: integrated amenity strategy, resident-facing technology, and on-site services that support operations and renter experience. Its coastal location provides residents access to nearby beaches, downtown Vero Beach, and regional retail at Treasure Coast Plaza, reinforcing the role of location and lifestyle in new product positioning.

Multifamily Leadership will continue to track how new communities balance design, technology, and service models to meet evolving resident expectations and operational goals.
